FAQ

What can you clean?

Sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans, mattresses, wall-to-wall carpet and area rugs โ€” right at your home. What we can do depends on the fabric:

  • Synthetic (polyester, microfiber, nylon) โ€” full clean: stains, pet accidents, odors.
  • Cotton and linen โ€” cleaned with a gentle shampoo made specifically for these fibers. Natural fibers can brown or shrink if treated too aggressively, so protecting your fabric comes before forcing out every old stain.
  • We don't take: silk, viscose, leather, or "S"-code fabrics (solvent-clean only).

How to check your fabric: look for the tag under a cushion or on the bottom of the sofa.

  • W โ€” we clean it โœ…
  • WS, W/S or S/W โ€” we clean it โœ…
  • S โ€” we don't take it โŒ
  • X โ€” we don't take it โŒ (vacuum only)

No tag or not sure? Text a photo to (253) 237-6135 and we'll let you know before you book.

Can you clean just one stain?

Yes, we'll come out for a single spot. Our minimum visit is $120.

One thing to know: when only one area gets wet, the moisture spreads, and a ring can form where wet meets dry. We minimize this with the right technique and strong extraction, but on some fabrics the risk is always there.

So before we start, we'll look at the fabric and tell you honestly whether spot cleaning is safe or the whole piece is the better choice. The decision is always yours.

What affects the price?

The price depends on what we're cleaning: number of seats on the sofa, mattress size, room size or rug size. You'll see the base price right away in the calculator on our site.

  • Stains โ€” up to 3 small stains are included. More or larger stains cost extra, depending on how many and how big.
  • Pet hair โ€” +15% of the item price for sofas and recliners.
  • Odor removal (pet urine, sweat, smoke, etc.) โ€” a separate service. The price depends on how deep the problem goes, so we quote it after inspection.
  • Fabric protection (Fabric Guard) โ€” optional add-on.
  • Furniture left in the room โ€” 10% off carpet cleaning if we don't need to move furniture.
  • Minimum visit โ€” $120.

Any extra charges are agreed with you before we start. The price never changes without your OK.

When and how do I pay?

Only after the job is done โ€” no prepayment at booking.

We accept cash, Zelle and debit cards. We don't accept credit cards.

Before you pay, we'll look at the results together so you're sure everything was done right.

Can you guarantee the stain will come out?

Honestly, no โ€” not 100%. And be careful with anyone who promises that.

One stain can be several substances at once, and each needs a different product. Old stains set into the fabric over time, and if a stain was already scrubbed with a store-bought cleaner, it can be locked in for good. The same goes for deep odors: sometimes they've soaked through the fabric into the foam, where no cleaning can reach.

What we do guarantee: the right products for your stain and fabric, careful work, and the best result possible without damaging your furniture.

Tip: if something spills, don't rub it. Blot it with a dry white cloth and contact us as soon as you can. Fresh stains come out much more easily.

Are the chemicals safe?

We use professional products matched to your fabric and stain. We test the fabric's pH before and after cleaning: before, to choose products that won't damage the fibers; after, to make sure the fabric is back to neutral with no chemical residue left behind.

For organic stains (food, pet accidents), we use enzyme cleaners that break the soil down instead of just covering it up.

Every job ends with a rinse that pulls leftover product out of the fabric. That means no sticky residue that attracts dirt, and nothing extra in contact with your skin.

Once everything is fully dry, your furniture is ready for normal use โ€” kids and pets included. While the fabric is still damp, it's best to keep them off.

How long does it take to dry?

Drying time depends on the fabric, padding thickness, temperature and humidity. On average:

  • Sofas and chairs โ€” 4โ€“8 hours
  • Mattresses โ€” 6โ€“12 hours
  • Wall-to-wall carpet โ€” 6โ€“12 hours
  • Area rugs โ€” 12โ€“24 hours

To speed it up: open windows and run a fan, AC or heater. The better the airflow, the faster it dries.

While the fabric is damp, don't sit on it or make the bed. You can walk on carpet in clean socks, but wait until it's fully dry before moving furniture back.

How should I prepare for your visit?

Very little prep needed:

  • Clear small items off and around the furniture: blankets, toys, remotes, decor.
  • For carpet cleaning, pick up anything small and easy to move. Heavy furniture can stay where it is.
  • Make sure there's access to water and an outlet nearby.
  • Leave parking as close to the entrance as possible โ€” our equipment is heavy.
  • Keep pets in another room while we work.
  • Don't try to remove stains yourself beforehand โ€” store-bought cleaners can set them.

We vacuum everything ourselves as part of the cleaning.

Can you remove pet urine odor?

In most cases, yes โ€” we can greatly reduce it or remove it completely.

Urine is one of the toughest problems because it rarely stays on the surface. It soaks through the fabric into the foam, or into the pad under carpet. A regular cleaning removes the stain on top, but the smell comes back as soon as the fabric dries.

That's why we treat the source: enzyme products that break down the urine, plus specialized odor neutralizers.

Honestly: if urine has built up in the foam or pad for years, it may not be possible to remove the odor completely without replacing them. We'll tell you before we start.

Odor removal is a separate service. The price depends on how deep the problem goes, so we quote it after inspection.

What is Fabric Guard, and do I need it?

It's a protective treatment we apply right after cleaning. It creates an invisible layer that makes spills bead up on the surface instead of soaking in right away, giving you time to blot them before they become stains.

It also helps dirt and dust stick less, so your furniture stays clean longer and is easier to vacuum.

Fabric Guard doesn't change how your fabric looks or feels โ€” it stays just as soft.

Especially worth it if:

  • you have kids or pets
  • you often eat or drink on the sofa
  • your furniture is light-colored

Keep in mind: it doesn't make fabric waterproof or stain-proof, but it makes stains much easier to remove.

It's an optional add-on you can choose when booking.
